Envious Handbags and Accessories was formally known as Rebecca's Accessories which was founded by Rebecca Stepetz in 2005. Rebecca's Accessories was a fantastic small business that Rebecca ran and consulted herself. The small business soon took over the home, dining room and garage.

With the demand for her handbag party plan increasing greatly, as well as the number ladies requesting to join her business as a party plan consultant also growing, Rebecca realized the potential for greatness with the handbag party plan she had created. Towards the end of 2008 the business started to grow rapidly with numerous party plan consultants in different areas, such as Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

In 2009 a business partnership was formed with a now previous shareholder & Envious Handbags and Accessories was formed as a pty ltd company to take over Rebecca's Accessories.

Envious Handbags and Accessories quickly expanded Australia wide and grew to be one of Australia’s largest handbag and accessories companies. The company moved into the more practical warehouse and office space at Smeaton Grange in Sydney which provided more room for growth and development.
